Cloud Computing
What is Cloud Computing?
Cloud computing is the delivery of infrastructure and applications as a service by an external provider to consumers of the service over a network (secure internet connection, VPN, MPLS).
What is Private Cloud computing?
Private cloud computing is a service provided by an external service provider where the infrastructure may be shared or dedicated and the applications are discrete so that computing resources are only accessible by a single company. Over 45% of enterprise deployments are private clouds because of their advantages in data security, corporate governance, performance and reliability.
What is Public Cloud computing?
Public clouds computing is a service provided by an external service provider where the infrastructure and applications are shared so that computing resources are shared across multiple organizations. Over 35% of enterprise deployments currently use this model.
What is Hybrid Cloud computing?
Hybrid cloud computing combines the benefits of private and public cloud computing. Hybrid clouds offer Private Cloud Computing for some of the components of a deployment along with Public Cloud Computing for other components of the solution.
